When I initially attempted to lose weight nearly a decade ago, my first line of action was to switch from regular soda to diet soda. For years I believed that diet sodas were much better for us just based on the fact that diet sodas have fewer calories. Sadly, I learned through my biochemistry courses that this may not be true.
